Having flown Air India, Indian (Airlines), and Kingfisher Airlines domestically throughout India, I have always set a preference for Jet Airwways. They have proved to be the most professional, and efficient airlines I have ever flown on. Check in at the counter for Jet is never a problem; lines are organized unlike Indian Airlines (although Kingfishers is quite good) and dont even get me started on Air India.
The check in staff are corteous, and respond to seating requests; never throwing you your passport and boarding pass like you are an animal at the zoo like in Air India. Boarding is always organized; perhaps more than world airlines like Continental or Lufthansa or British Airways. I am greeted by a young, attractive, and proffessional crew who extend their warmth to passengers- responding to requests and are always helpful- not like the fat FAs of Air India who hide their fat under saris and throw you food, are rude, and show no personal intrest in hygene or the FAs of Kingifiser who are although well groomed, are overintrusive and stiff. The cabin is spotless unlike the cello-taped armrests of Air India and the used tissues in seat pockets of Indian Airlines, and the legroom, seath width, and recline are ample unlike Kingfisher who claim to have the widest seats in economy.
When it comes to comfort, Jet is head on! Pre departure drinks are always circulated; something unique and the catering is beyond words. Food is flavorful, filling, and have five star quality- I find their food better than international carriers such as Delta, KLM, and Japan Airlines and the fact service is always topped of with ungeneric smiles! After a trip on this airline, I feel like I never even touched off the ground everything is so smooth and luxourious. Now that Jet is going international, I am looking florward to flying with them all over the globe; with new destinations like Colombo, Katmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai London, Brussels, New York, Toronto, San Fransisco, and planed routes like Johannesburg and Dubai I have set a whole new set of standards for them to meet, knowing they will exceed them and fail to dissapoint me as always.
