Airways Customer Service is pathetic. Yesterday I booked online and for some strange reason unknown to me it took the currency as Philipino Peso. The reference is OWLTBE. I immediately called customer service and was on hold for 20 minutes.
Finally when I got through it was transferred to another operator ostensibly of higher grade and with a hold time of another 7 minutes. after 27 minutes of holding and listening to stupid music I got an operator Vijay who knew nothing of what to do. I spoke to his supervisor Suma who gave me brilliant advice - write us an email. At 12 Midnight I wrote an email because I wanted to correct the error and got a response from Chandran Swamy - Web Booking manager.
The response " We can reverse the tickets provided you first book a set of new tickets through Jet Airways" CONSIDER THIS - I AM A JET SILVER MEMBER WITH OVER 100, 000 miles earned till date. Imagine what plight they put us through. Do you think anyone will buy an additional four tickets in the HOPE that JET will reverse the first four tickets?
