Kabini resort is good to take a break. well appointed cottages, great food. however, tiger sightings are few, the rangers are taken up by white skin when it comes to organising anything outside their schedule. I am also against the concept of someone making money over something thats a river bank. all in all , they keep a decent schedule to help you relax...dont expect too much and u wont be disappointed. on another note, I once had a visitor and on a whim, we decided to go to kabini on a sunday....so on saturday, we tried to book a place. their offices used to be closed on weekends, so a travel agent called them up for us. I spoke to the manager or who ever, and we were able to get a price of 90 usd all inclusive ( I think original price was 125usd....this was in 2003 or early 04) so do try cheers!
