Last week we friends drive down from pune to murud via varadhah ghat( mahad).
The road is bad in some patch but is the shortest to the place from pune.
After reachign murud we were quite dissapointed to find only 4-5 hotel/resorts to choose from.
The place is remotely located from Dapoli & the public transport is really poor so dare only
if you have your own vehicle.
First we went to resort named "sea princess" which is worst place to stay.
They cost Rs1000 for non ac room with no facilities at all, so I wont advice anyone
so try it.
After a bit of search we went to Kamaths place which is a joint venture between them & MTDC.
The place has good ambience & staff is friendly. But they dont offer any AC rooms.
The food is having limited variety when it comes to sea food, but testes good.
The most disspointing thing is the seashore, its not a beach just a sea shore.there is absolutely no sand & only mud on the widely spread land .
There is nothing to do around exept the sea shore & a place called Anjarla where a nice
Ganesh temple is situated.
So I would not advice anyone to visit the place with expectation too see a beutiful beach.
