Yash Chopra’s films generally are shot on beautiful landscapes.Lamhe was yet another such film, Filmed extensively in Rajasthan and abroad.
The story was quite unusual.The story of a young man who is infatuated by an older woman, who is entrusted to bring her daughter, who inturn falls in love with him, as she grows up.
The film was well picturised, and brought to life by superb performances from Sridevi and Anil Kapoor.Waheeda Rehman and Anupam kher gave good support. This film was not much of a hit. But I do not understand why..People were not able to digest the end, which is crazy. I loved the movie, its songs...morni baaga ma dole..was enchanting..its music, the cinematorgraphy was excellent. The only dismal point in the movie was an insipid appearance by deepak malhotra
