Iam really to sorry to write about them here. I ordered two expensive items(Laptop & Digital camera)by Cash On Delivery in the last 5 weeks.Both came with in the 7-10 day time frame in my hand and well packed, orginal manufacturer seal and whatever gifts were promised was inside.
Now to avail a Rs 100 discount coupon, I placed an order for a computer speaker worth only Rs 700 and paid by online bank.
In my last two transactions, I never called them even once.Just a email reminder/tweet from my phone .
Just call the courier to ascertain when they are coming.
Since 29th OCT the order is under process-Now on NOV 3rd they gave a ticket NO:CC111127330 and after that no more replies.
I sent them mail saying Iam willing to accept another brand speaker or other item(in the same price range).Nope no reply whatso ever for the past 2 days.
In twitter some pour soul( I have a suspicion auto robot) keeps replying daily to all customers angry tweets "Thanks for your info.our customer care team will get back to you". from the amount of angry mail in twitter and Facebook wall, looks like hundreds of cuastomers are waiting for the call that will never come. It is a sad situation.There could be only two reasons- they have run out of capital or staff en mass have quit/ not paid salary.
You can hire a 8th std fellow to reply mail or talk to customers nicely and tell the exact problem- people will listen and will give them a rope. But absconding is no answer and forecasts more serious problems.
They had lot of visibilty and I want them to succeed as a healthy competition to Flipkart.

update: Nov 9: 6 pm: Got the item today.well packed.and functioning well in my Apple Macpro notebook.
