There was a time when if you thought of Jeans then you thought of Levi. The 501 was the name synonymous with jeanswear of all types and they were somewhat interchangeable. I’m not sure whether this is still the case but it is true that Levi remains one of the top brands out there...but is this justified?
In my experience I have always found Levi jeans to be one of the most hard wearing jeans on the market. I have never been a fan of blue jeans but have always opted for Black and found that these retain the colour a lot longer than others on the market. The one problem I have found recently though is with the comfort factor. I used to think Levi jeans were pretty comfortable, until I discover Yves Saint Laurent’s brand. these are superb, keeping their colour and being of a much ’softer’ but just as durable material and a far better cut. The price is quite hefty though but its definitely worth the extra cash. I still like the Levis but they wouldn’t be my first choice anymore.
