I bought this TV last week, whichever LCD tv you buy it looks bad with ordinary cable, you have to accept this when you buy a LCD tv.Plasmas are way ahead in this aspect, unfortunately sales of Plasma tv is as low as 100 per year in Bangalore(revealed by LG showroom).LG has been in India since 96 and has been a reliable brand with least problems.
LG Scarlet has all the features offered by its competitors in higher end models, hence it is a clear winner.LG uses Philips made LCD panels, which is perhaps the most trusted brand worldwide. Picture quality is excellent and color reproduction is great.Invisible speakers produce crystal clarity sound.Remote functions are very much similar to their CRT range, and very user friendly.
It produces crystal clear picture with DIVX and DVD movies, and with a set top box it is also the best for cable TV.I have been an LG user for 8 years having seen all their models, they are the most consistent, user-friendly and reliable brand.
I am happy with this TV after 8 months, it is a precious jewel in my house.Prices have come down now compared to last year.
