Lot has been said of the Indiranagar branch, the one in Chennai caught my imagination with the presentation and food. So it was time to visit the one located in the midst of the IT campuses in the ITPL area of Bangalore. There are so many restaurants just to attract the meal passes the companies provide.
On a dull Tuesday is when I went to this place tucked in an office complex. The space amazed me. The restaurant looked big with lot of space and a small garden inside the restaurant. Not much of a crowd, maybe Fridays are jam packed. Whatever.
I just started going through the ala carte menu when I saw another small menu card. This menu card had something called a Power Lunch. The dessert being optional was a big thing for me. The designer of this card admired algebraic expressions is my guess. Getting the equation right takes some time and it should add up to 1 (meal, of course)
One could choose a starters or a salad. Then a choice of 3 soups. Now the main course had a twist - it had some Mexican fare thrown in it. Regular Mexican fare. Pizzas, pastas or Mexican fare for main course.
Pasta list had a good line up.
The dessert has 3 choices, one could go for the tiramisu. Looked decent, as I opted out of the dessert.
It was a decent meal to say the least for the price. Though called a power lunch, guess the batteries were out in the waiters, who needed some prodding by way of hungry looks to get them started.
A la carte menu had more choices to make you miserable. Dont know if this outlet had a wine list. Power lunch lasted 40 minutes, a tad too long for the name, but definitely value for money. Service could be faster on a Tuesdays, atleast.
The place has repeat value. Waiting to try this place on a Friday, looks like they have a buffet on offer.
