Well we have been used to it...same old story of guys in love and not realizing it till its very late (marriage is over etc) and then when the realize, they run towards each other.
To start with the plot, its very usual and expected one. Saif and Deepkia meet each other at a disco and have what is known as ultra fast relationship. They fall for each other and in not time u feel as if ur seeing movie at 4x speed. Dont be shocked as they break up even faster. Both have thier work commitments which make them to change countries and as an intelligent-thinking" couple they decide to break up!!
All this happens in say first 10mins of the movie :) Then comes Rishi Kapoor who owns a coffee shop where our ex-couple used to meet and when he sees that the break up has happened, comes and tries to put in his story (young Saif sardar as u may have noticed in songs/trailers). In the begining u feel little gripped by the sub plot, but as the time passes it turns out to be a damp squib. The sub plot is terrible and along side our main story also moves on with director trying hard to show similarities in what actually is a weak storyline. Both of them meet intentionally of else and somehow dont realize wat we all hav already done (common this has been repeated so many times).
What makes the story even boring is Saif in the sub plot. Saif has almost 90% screen presence in the movie which is real real overdose. Deepika looks gorgeous and to be honest I saw the movie just because of her.
Acting wise Deepika is good, Saif is ok in main role but very bad in sardar role. He cant even pronounce punjabi words properly.
All in all the movie has few brief moments/dialouges and Deepika which workout for the movie else it has nothing..Gheesa Peeta story
You can watch it once with little expectation.
On any day I would rather watch Jab We Met or Hum Tum again than re-visiting this one.
