Okay. Let’s start with this. The trailer of M.S.Dhoni - The Untold Story was so hitting, that I not only watched it several times, after I downloaded it on my phone, but also had long discussions with my friends on the so many goosebumps it gave, every single time I watched it. And I repeat it.
Every. Single. Time.
And the discussions haven’t ended yet. Neither has my reading spree on perhaps every single article I have come across regarding the trailer. The tweets from the fans, sports fraternity all over the world, celebrities, each of them has made the wait for 30th September a difficult one.
Now, the points I would like to cover here, which I had a prolonged discussion on, mostly with Anurag Ghose(he’s the one I usually have my longest conversations with, be it any topic, cricket, or life, or literally anything).
The very first thing which he pointed out is the scene where the kid asks “Thoda sa batting doge kya.” and the flashback shows Dhoni asking his coach the same thing in his younger days, “Humko bhi ek chance dijiye na Sir…” What’s unbelievably inspiring is the fact that one of the most popular and famed cricketers of today had to beg for chances in his early days. No wonder he’s reached at a level where we’re today seeing a movie being made on his journey and the trailer itsel
