Mahabalipuram is known for its temples and monuments. This place is also famous for making stone/marble sculptures.It’s hard to believe these monuments were carved as architectural templates. Temple architecture is marvelous. Krishna’s butter ball is magical. In hot summer it is too tiring to roam around, so I would recommend to carry water bottles and other safety measures . Its always better to visit this place during non summer . Surprisingly our history has been beautifully carved on stones which is a precious asset for us. The only drawback is that the place is always over crowded and becoming dirty.
