Very attractive and lovely garden

This garden is situated at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, north side to the city 9km away from Jodhpur railway station, 6km from bus depotand 12km from Jodhpur Air port.

This is a heritage and good attractive place for tourists and visitors. Foreigners also used to visit here regularly.

This was built in around 1730 by maharaja Ajit singh and later on Rao Jodha left it and built Mehrangarh fort and declared the city Jodhpur on his name. As per the old history it is also said that Mandodari the wife of danavaraj Ravan was from this place and on her name the Mandore name became famous.

The garden is very good picnic spot and very near to Mandore railway station. Its opening time is from 8am to 8pm. At the main entrance of garden at the left side we can see Ambay mandir, beyond that shiv temple and other side Hanuman mandir is there.

First we can have the darshan of lord and can proceed towards the garden sites. Garden is very clean and nice maintenance is being done by the working  staff of the garden. All ancient type of buildings have nice architecture. If you are with family then have a round in moving train of garden with children and enjoy.

There is a ek khamb mahal is which has quite a good height or higher then other buildings. Specially this time all around we can see beautiful greenery, trees are lined up in such a way which gives nice attractions with monkeys jumping and dancing on the trees and around you.

There are small shades or chhataries are made where you can telex and can have your food. Drinking water and toilet facilities are provided by the garden, tea stall and restaurant also is there for eatables. So as a whole it is very nice and attractive picnic spot for tourists. Though few buildings at the last corner near canal area are not properly maintained. Just it is abondond type so it required to be looked after. Otherwise this historical place is well maintained and nice visiting place. Other slight seen like ummaid bhawan, Jaswant

Thada, mehran fort, shiv temple and kaylana lake are famous to visit as a attreection places. There are suitable hotels also available to stay in the city area. I used to visit sometimes this place during school and college time as I was staying in high court colony area which is 11-12km away from this place. So this is 100% worth to visit and make the trip memorable.
