We got a Maruti A Star Vxi for my sis-in-law. The car is excellent in all respects. First and foremost, it delivered 21 kmph+ on highway with AC on and at higher speed. Secondly, the pick up and revving is much better than expected and thirdly it’s a very smooth drive that one can enjoy.
If anyone is looking for a handy car that is mostly used in the city and sometimes on highways also, for a price of near about 4 lacs, then this is the car. It is superior to WagonR in all respects, looks, performance, drive quality and economy, except boot space, where WagonR scores higher.
Maruti has definitely come up with a good product in the small car segment. Competing with Hyundai i10, chev beat, santro, vista, this car definitely has its advantages in the price segment. Highly recommended for ladies, as it would be an easy to drive car.
