Alto Lxi Cool/Small/Nice/Best Entry level Car.

I have been doing research for almost 6 months (for cars) before I bought my Car Alto Lxi.

And hear I am writing this review on Alto Lxi after I have drivenThis car on high way for 500 Km in 2 days.( of course I wanted to Take this car on highway before I wanted to write the review)

Now generally people (me too) have following questions about the Car and there answers.

1) Price Range… ( IN INR)

Its most important factor of buying car (you must put your self In particular price Range before you go for car because you haveTo pay for that…..)

Esteem :- 500000/- ( +/- 25000/-)

Swift :- 440000/- ( + 20000/-)

Wagon R:- 375000/- ( + 50000/-)

Alto :- 275000/- ( + 50000/-)

Well it’s all on you which price range you can afford to buy Car… though I fall in Wagon R Range Still I went for alto... Nice Small And cool affordable price range to have nice CAR.

2) Engine power.

Engine power is one of the important factors which go sided by Side with price range the high you go you can have high power Range cars..

My concern is do you really required that much power for you To drive the car unless you have following concerns

If you travel too much on long drive (on high way) with pay load of at least 4 people and luggage. If yes then you will have to go for more then 1.1 liter engine or above.

Because Alto Lxi is not made for highway driving for following

Reasons

a) just 796 CC engine

b) with 796 CC engine you can not expect performance with the Pay load I have mention above

c) you Need to Shut off the A/C while going for Over take.

d) Does not Accelerate nicely for 60 KM/Hr to 100 Km/Hr ( you need to wait )

3) Safety in the car.

Cars are Not Safe unless you DRIVE it Safely & responsibly.

4) Comfort in Car.

Now Comfort is very subjective term, For Alto 4 people can enjoy Sitting comfort for not more then 2 hours (with Average height Of 5.8). You need to take stop every 2 hours to stretch you legs. (All Maruti cars are less bumpy on Roads compare to others cars Just check the Sits of cars made up of medium density material.)

5) Driving Comfort (For Indian Roads )

Driving comfort is same for all following cars

Honda City, Maruti Esteem , Swift , Alto

Driving comfort is good for following cars due to its high Sitting arrangements

Wagon R , Santro

6) Mileage per lit.

Mileage is depends on your driving practice and engine power You have.On long drive(550 Km) I have received mileage of 18-20 with AC on And load of 2 people.

7) Service networks.

Service network of Maruti is toooooooo good compare to others Car manufactures (even road side Car mechanic can fix your problem unless its is very major engine problem for which you need to take your car @ service station

8) Parts ( maintenance )

Since Service network is good then you can expect the availability of most of the parts every ware for reasonable cost.And about Maruti if it is new car then you don’t have to worry at least till 40000 km drive.

9) Cost of Ownership

Graph of Cost of Ownership is very constant considering Maruti car ( any model)

10) resale Value in Market.

You can expect 75% resale value for Alto after 2 years if you maintain your car well.

Low Cost

Nice mileage (18-20 with AC on 20-21 without Ac)

Best in Small Cars for family of 4

AC is too Good ( you can make your self freeze if you have done dark filming on car Glasses ( not front one :-)))))))))) )

Best City car

Cons’
