I normally drive 3 different cars. Hyundai Santro, Maruthi Dzire, Toyota Innova. I have been using Dzire since 2008, the car is perfect for the mileage. But the car is not good for driving beyond 70kmph, if you have to apply sudden break forget it if you do not have ABS breaks. The car will swing to a side. The car should be fitted with ABS breaks as standard fitting.
Maruti win hearts of Indians by its mileage, but it never thought of the safety measures. Another problem with older Dzires, clutch sensor fails if you apply clutch for more than 2 seconds while running. This results engine switch off, this cuts off power to the steering. You will have to struggle to stop the car without power steering. This can even cause an accident. The car is good ONLY for its price.
