Ive been using the Wagon R Lxi from 2004 onwards. Before that I was using a Zen. Zen was actually my first car. I purchased a Wagon R since my Zen was almost 8 years old and my mother had difficulty in getting in and out of it. Wagon R in that respect was very convenient since the seating was a bit raised. Driving comfort is quite good and so is the road view while driving. But even after all this I would still say that Zen was much better taking in terms of comfort, road control and mileage. Wagon R because of its height, when going fast tends to catch the wind. That time if a bigger vehicle comes speeding beside you, you tend to tilt slightly. But Zen moves as if it is just floating steadily. Sometimes I felt sorry for selling off my Zen. Maruti management did a big mistake in stopping the production of Zen. It was truly a world car. But for potential WagonR buyers, I do recommend this car, cause since the production of Zen has stopped, Wagon is presently the most popular car in the small size category and is much better than its counterparts Indica, Santro etc.
