As must be clear from the long list of previous reviews, Matrix is the most fraudulent telecom company out there ready to rob you of your hard earned money.
The sales representative would come and will tell you a plan completely as per your liking. Once the plan is decided, he will take your credit card details, go back and make an agreement made in which some other plan about which you have never been discussed with would be drafted, scanned and sent to your email id for confirmation. Trusting on the representation made by the company’s agent you go ahead and confirm it. You then come back from your trip expecting a bill of a few thousands according to the plan you had selected but BANGGGGG.you are slammed with a bill running into multiples of thousands(even Lakhs in few cases in the previous review). In my case, they activated an unknown plan which has cost me more than double the amount what it should have if the cheats had activated the plan which was discussed with me. And then since they have your credit card details, you cannot even stop them from charging you as well.
I suggest everyone to follow the given advice in the descending order:
(1) DON’T BUY MATRIX! That’s the best decision you will take with respect to your trip. There are enough review out there to know that they are cheats of the highest order.
(2)DON’T SHARE YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS WITH THEM. No matter how much they insist and whatever they say, just tell them that you will pay through cash or any other means on your return but will not give your CC. Don’t trust them with it. If they don’t agree, let them go. There are many other service providers out there who will give you better service and not make you go bankrupt by misusing your CC.
(3) Even if you have to buy a SIM, DON’T TAKE DATA SERVICE from them. It is in data they cheat you the most as there is little scope there for you to challenge them in it due to lack of technical data information with you.
(4) My last advice would be again to reiterate.DON’T BUY MATRIX. Its as simple as that. You have numerous other service providers. Go through the latest reviews of Matrix. Don’t risk your hard earned money. You will regret it otherwise.
It’s been two weeks that I sent there nodal officer for complaints Mr. Shashank Gautam an email regarding what they have done with me.Last week I got a reply that we are investigating the matter and will get back to you. Another week has gone by without any update. However in the meanwhile they have already deducted the amount from my CC.
These things show how unethical and poorly managed their company is. Don’t waste your money, time and patience on them.
