Well, I never thought I would write a review onBurgers, but thats what I am going to do right now! So it so happened that one fine day we ordered 30 McD burgers from Pune for a office birthday party. After calling the landline number of the J.M road branch, we discovered that to order home/office delivery we need to call a centralized call center number. But since we needed to get other snacks as well, we went down physically to the outlet.
After ordering and a wait of 10-15 mins, we got the nicely packaged burgers with sauce packets. Then hungry and excited about the party, we rushed to the office carrying with us snacks and McD burgers( Aloo tikki). After other celebrations, when it was time to savor the delicious burgers, we found to our utmost dismay, that there were only 25 nos. of burgers in the bag! :(
Feeling stupid and embarrassed, i decided to take the matter in to my own hand. So on the number mentioned on the customized bill, I called them and educated them of whatmisadventure had happened with us. The floor manager(Ms Savita) apologetically heard me out and promised me to provide me with the deficit burgers. After going there personally, she happily delivered by remaining 5 burgers to me. And to make up for the embarrassment time I had to face, she threw in a pack of free Finger chips.
Now, the point is although the mistake was on McD side that they dint count the number of burgers before handing it over, they did not think that the customer is a fool or ignore him. And so I am happy not because I got thefree finger chips and the 5 burgers( for which I had already paid), but for the way this kind of issue was solved. Kudos McD! I hope all the service providers take a cue from this. :)
Ok and I must mention that the burgers were also very tasty.
