my personal review:
I dont know how many people read my review about Shoib Akhtar.Cause in my review I said Shoib is gonna be the best bowler of this century, I was wrong, Hey Dont blame me yaaro, What can I do, In paksitan there are New and talented bowlers, especially Fast-bowlers born every second minute, sure when they r born they dont know that they will be famous sport-personalities some day, ...And believe me I am not saying that cause I am PAkistani, I am saying this cause this is a fact.......Now What is this Sammi capable of, let me tell u: I watched that last tournament playing Pakistan, Sri-lanka, Zimbabwe, Sri-lanka was playing PAkistan, ..JAysuriya BAtting, and I dont Know why but somehow He could never figure out what kind of delivery Sammi is gonna come up with, especially He was not able to cope with the pacy deliveries, one hit his gloves and injured his hand, .....it was not the first time Batsmen were struggeling to play Sami.....
Now What makes Sami really so Special- see- this guy takes average-length run-up, has a very high arm action and still gains very good pace, now he is the third fastest bowler in the world(along with Shoib Akhtar, Brett LEe, ) But he is consistent either, He does not lose much of his stemina during his spells nor does he lose his control over the ball, sure sometimes he struggles with the No-balls cause he ’’loses’’ his run-up, but this is forgivable for a newomer to international cricket and for someone who at the age of 19-20 got two HAttricks , on in a one-dayer agianst West-indies and one in a test against Sri-lanka, .....
His run-up and his total bowling action is really very firy and it looks so good (sometimes it reminds me of Wasim Akram), so There is a lot of action he creates with his bowling-style :) But he is a quite fellow , not like Shoib or Brett Lee who do not shy showing their hot temper, Sammi is quite but whenever he gets hit for a boundary( 4 or 6) one can watch that it annoys him, when that happens happens he is eagerly kean to take the wicket of the batsman who just hit him for a boundary and if it is not the wicket he takes at least he comes with a very good and dangerous ball....
you can see the hunger on his face and the way he plays, he never gets tired and even on a losing day he still sees hope for his team even when it comes to battting, He REALLy knows how to hit SIXES, , man when I saw him hitting a six I was that much impressed, and somehow he gets used to hit Huge ones, So he even has All-round abilities I will not say that he will be the best bowler of this century , cause I am sure that there will always be bowlers in Pakistan who will deserve that title some day in their career, but one thing I can say is that Sammi will certainly become a nightmare for many batsmen and will be compared to great bowlers like Wasim Akram, waqar younis, courtney Walsh, ....I wish him all the best for his career..
