The most resilent smartphone period

I purchased this phone(on 1st august 2015) almost a year ago and it will be injustice to the phone if I don’t share my experience till date.

This phone reminds me of the good old nokia dabba phones which were the real deal in its time. This phone has gained the love of the user in the same lines of nokia mobile phones by being an extremly sturdy phone in true sense. The user maybe a student or an executive officer everybody has cherished this awesome device.

The reason is straight forward.

This phone has got the perfect combination of specifications which is supported by the ever awesome stock android software which has taken the full advantage of the hardware and brought the best user interface for daily needs.

Even though it sports a mediocre snapdragon 410 chipset it never shies away from a powerful performance as the motorola team had tuned this chip to over power the 410 specifications.

Till date I never faced any lag in the OS to an extent where I would bring up the 2GB RAM being less for operating this phone.

The internal memory even after being 16GB now-a-days hovers in the 1-2 GB range of free space which is not good.

Many have complained about the marshmallow update disrupting the smooth experience but It was not entirely true in my case as it still holds that smooth experience.

Yes the battery life can be an issue as it can drain pretty quickly on heavy use and it doesnt charge that quickly.

That’s why "motorola" came up with turbo edition.

Coming to other aspects such as camera. It performs quite well considering it has got the same sensor as that of nexus 6.

The highlight of the phone is its IPX7 rating which translates to immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes and the "X" signifying that it can withstand solid particles but not to a very large extent.

It has also got some gimmicks with double karate for flash and twist for camera which I ended up disabling it as the camera used to get started unintentionally same goes to the MOTO display which used to drain a lot of juice.

Special mention for the speaker which isn’t stereo as its older conterpart but still manages to be load and clear.

I will be honest when it comes to handling.

I have dropped this phone a lot of times but it always managed to be in one piece that’s what I and all other MOTOG3 user love about this lovely piece of electronic device for the sake of communication.

This phone completes the trilogy of G series phone brought the MOTOROLA on a high before becoming MOTO by lenovo.
