I have been using MTS Mblaze device since over four months now. I am VERY happy with the device, its performance and the plans also. But the Customer Support is very bad. I had 3 issues in this month and they never were solved and it took lot of time. Finally, I had to visit the corporate office of MTS, where the issue was solved and also I was apologized by the Area Manager for the problem. He was kind enough to get it solved.
Otherwise the plans, esp. speeds in the city is just awesome. I got a mzx of 250 Kbps download speed which I feel is pretty good.
I stay in the outskirts of the city where even BSNL Wired line is not present. But I am lucky that I get MTS Broadband Mode signal here. I have been told that the nearest BS is 8 km from my place, but being an Electronics Grad a home made antenna worked wonders and I get about 60-100 Kbps of download speeds even at my place. The best part is its prepaid. Also from their Marketing Campaign its visible that they are targeting the youth: students.
The revised plans seem to be the best in the market. Also they have identified the flaw in lower rated plans any tried to fill in the gap with 2 Gb and increased the data in lower plans.
Go for it. If issues with customer support. Do fight. Only then the service will improve. MTS rocks(saying this as I ve used BSNL EVDO, Sify wired line, Tata wired line, tata wi max, photon plus over time ranging past 4 yrs and of all these I found this to be the best) !!
