N.C.COLLEGE in Israna (Panipat)- a lot was said to me about this college by few of my friends (who studied in this college....).Obviously they were all good things (I mean nobody ever says it was Hobson’s choice that’s why I entered this college even when the case might be!!!)
And during my graduation days I went to check it myself that how good an institute N.C. College stands in front of my expectations.
To start with the building is pretty O.K. type (not the one a student will dream of studying in starting stages)
Met my friends and their classmates and one strange thing what I noticed was they were pretty frustrated about upcoming future as NO COMPANIES WERE SUPPOSED TO COME FOR PLACEMENTS and surprisingly it was the trend over the past years. I remember asking him why its the case and he replying that in simple words students are not street smart as in other engineering colleges and that’s where they suffer in interviews even after completing degree......and I could see for myself the difference the teachers, students, absolutely everyone talking in hindi the local language.The dressing sense was even more pathetic, nobody dressed in proper formal dress, everybody in casual shirts that too not tucked up and worst I saw a teacher in t-shirts.Once I saw a student in rubber slippers in college it was a nightmare...
I think the whole college needs Personality development and student need to know that when we Indians are going global, with engineers being backbone of this progress its our duty to be pretty active and street smart in every aspect.
I still believe its pretty good as compared to other colleges in academics kind of thing but really lot needs to be done to have modern outlook for betterment of college.
IN THE END I SHOULD SAY ITS A COLLEGE NOT INSTITUE...WHAT ONE WILL LIKE IT TO BE
