I have tried Nair off and on over the years. Whenever I see commercials about a new improved formula I give it another try. Never again! First, it smells like a home perm. No amount of apple or raspberry scent can cover it. In fact, when they give it a fruity smell, it makes it more nauseating. Secondly, it does not remove all of my hair. I have dark brown, almost black hair, so the hair on my legs is the same. It seems brunettes usually have heavier leg hair. Plus, I have shaved my body hair since I was 13 or so. This means the hair is quite coarse. The directions on the bottle say to soak the hair to be removed in warm water for 5 minutes to make removal easier. I have found it does not help. I still end up with stubble and areas where the nair did not remove the hair well at all. I find I have to shave my legs even after using it. Many people I know also seem to get a rash after using it, but thankfully that has not happened to me. Finally, it is difficult to rinse off. I have to use a washcloth to get the stuff off my legs. After that I take a shower to get the hame perm smell off my legs. If you dont do that, your pants or pantyhose or skirt will absorb the bad smell when you get dressed. Do not use this product. It is a waste of money. I like the good old fashioned razor.
