Recent Incidents at Ness Technologies

I have updated this as a comment in one of the reviews and I am putting it as my review too. They had Pune Center few years ago and then closed it, I don’t know what happened to the guys, but again they got a project in Pune and placed 40+ people there with an assurance that its 5 Years contract and we have penalty in place for any unfortunate stuff.

After 1.5 Years the project faced hiccups and is given 90 days notice period by client. Company has explicitly asked all employees to resign and they WILL try for placement to other locations depending on whether client pays for them, otherwise they are not keeping you on bench for a single day...This is the help they are doing.

Secondly, even if the people know they have to leave in November 2013, they are not relieved early, so they have to serve 3 months notice period which is a big hurdle in their job search seeing current market.

Company is "denying" giving any notice from its end and asking employees to resign on their own. Employees who have denied are intimidated with consequences like Termination with 90 days notice period. These are the words of Senior Manager HR. What else can you expect from a company whose Senior HR is behaving like this?!

Your gratuity won’t be coming as you are screwed by company, you will be paid "basic" salary for your remaining leaves, you won’t be paid anything like 3 months basic salary which generally company pays in such bad times on the last day. But since the client is paying only for next 90 days and they want billing, company want employees to serve 90 days and then won’t pay a single penny extra. That is business as VP Delivery of this company repeats several times.

For all employees (all centers) company delayed appraisal in April 2013 and will be giving it in October. Of course 40+ employees shown the gate won’t be covered. That are smart HR policies.
