Nestle’s Fruits N Dahi comes in two flavours - a delicious mango and a yummy strawberry. The adverts promised that it was the taste of fruits and the richness of curds and the adverts were absolutely correct. I put the first spoonful in my mouth a little hesitantly, expecting a synthetic bubble gum strawberry flavour but it was a delight to taste crushed strawberry and rich creamy curds dissolving in your mouth.
The mango flavour too was not the plastic tasting frooti flavour but a nice mango touch that was light and slight and delicate. Unlike many of the flavoured milk and curd products available in the market, Nestle has a standard that will be hard to match by anybody. You can feel and taste the fruit as you savour spoonful after another.
If you have been fond of Srikhand, here is a good, low calorie frozen dessert that you might enjoy. It is slightly on the expensive side but the taste lingers on well beyond the empty container. Go for it. Give it a shot. And feel the magic melt in your mouth.
