Who does not want to go to Las Vegas?
Families and Non Gamblers and thats about all.
The people of Las Vegas , realizing this decided to make this city of neon and gambling a city that was ’’family friendly’’
Well they have succeded and Im sure Bugsy Siegal is rolling over in his grave.
Las Vegas used to be the city of decadence , show girls and ’’The Rat Pack’’ but is now the city of roller coasters , family fun and kids, kids , and more kids.
Is this a bad thing?
No, not at all.
I have always thought of Las Vegas as the adult town with adult entertainment, Wayne Newton , and quickie marriages but all that is changing.
Las Vegas still offers the usual adult fare but now is becoming more accomodating to the family crowd and the kids.
Many rides have been developed along with baby sitting services and the city has combined the both to offer Mom and Dad a reprieve to enable them to hit the casinos while the kids are supervised and having fun in the many galleries and attractions this city has developed for them to enjoy.
In the old days you never saw a child in the casino , and that mostly remians today but what you do see is megga hotels with megga casinos and family entertainment combined.
Pirates of the Carribean is a show for the family that is outside a major hotel that is worth taking the kids to.
Many other attractions are kid worthy also and your travel agent can advise which ones are suitable for children.
Although Las Vegas was my escape to the adult world for many years and I would never consider taking my children there it is acceptable to take kids , grandparents and anyone now.
I love Las Vegas , don’t get me wrong.. but would my children love it ?
Naw.. I don’t think so ...
