In experience of last~2 years my kid and some other kids of school have been regularly complaining to parents about the teachers and headmistress of New Horizon Gurukul. There are many instances where kids are threatened and after that they are scared to go to school.
As per kids Headmistress also uses foul language with kids like to UKG and 1st standard kids "you are not listening to teacher or not doing homework, you are acting like a gunda?" As per kids she also some times turns and twists fingers of student or acts in a threatening manner.
Following footsteps of Headmistress some of the teachers often are abusive and use threats and scare kids by acts or language like bad will happen to you or you will be dead or will be beaten if don’t listen.
They also make kids stand for hours as punishment for small small things. They scare kids for not approaching Principal or Management to complaint. So if we tell kid that we will come and talk to Principal or management they say no as teachers will beat them later. What kind of Gurukul is this and what is management doing and tolerating such teachers and headmistress.
In some other forums also I am seeing some parents complaining.

By Pooja - Posted on January 24th, 2012 Not a good school. They are beating very badly. Actually, they are harassing children(Mental & Physically Both).
I am feeling very sad because these small kids can’t even convey the same to their parents. Most of the time kids are crying. Teachers are saying "I’ll chop your fingers/ legs), not only this they hanging the kids & beating without any reason. There are many more things to say.but can’t write everything. At last, I can say, It’s not a school - It’s a hell for Nursery & LKG.

We cannot keep changing schools as a lot of money is involved every time. In functions and cultural programs they try to show case Indian history and vedic teachings but their teachers and management does not themselves follow any of the culture when dealing with students and so young kids. Gurukul name is like an eye wash. The management has to improve quality of staff and ensure safe and cultured environment for students.
