Initially I registered through online claim request and waited for 3 days, there was no response. When I called their customer care they have no idea about online claim registration process.
Later submitted manual claim form with all supporting documents and again called up their customer care from there I was asked to call another number. Later incompetent surveyor was assigned K Anasultannda Murugan, this surveyor is a third party agency and does not know anything about documentation. From this point customer care was hopeless, kept saying the same story and zero knowledge about the whole process.
It took me several phone calls to 044 - 23456719/885/701/702/705/729, but none picked up. Wrote numerous email to following ID ch71@newindia.co.in, contactus@newindia.co.in, customercare.ho@newindia.co.in, bss71@newindia.co.in, c.jegetheesan@newindia.co.in, but NO RESPONSE & most of the email ID does not exist but still available on their website.
Finally got hold of email ID renjit.gangadharan@newindia.co.in and then came the response and solution to my problem. It is only the top people who care about the company and others who just work for the monthly salary and create headache for customers.
