High On Premiums Low On Settlements is what I can say I one word.
I had this policy for my father and they said no medical tests below certain age and they took information of health problems on phone.
Later after 18months of the policy when my father had an issue and got admitted they started saying this was existing earlier and not disclosed by us. I went to talk to the senior management and warned them about taking the matter to IRDA and thats when they came back and said sorry for the inconvenience and they would cover it.
At the time taking the policy they said it covers absolutely everything and thats why they are collecting high premiums. To my surprise after collecting such premiums they don’t honor the settlement requests
