I wanted to take Accident Care insurance online and contacted phone support. I have been charged Rs.6618 whereas buy online option comes at Rs.5955. Phone support cheated me on that part. Policy was issued but some unrelated questions mentioned in the policy document for which answer is given as "NO" where as it should be "NA(Not Applicable)". Phone support says that those questions are for Critical Care and I agree with them but it should be mentioned somewhere in the policy document or it should be "NA".
My experience with the e-mail and grievance support of Max Bupa is worst. You will never ever get a reply to your email and that is the standard of Max Bupa and other few companies in terms of TRANSPARENCY. They will never commit in written.
Now, I am stuck with wrong policy by paying more money and even after revealing everything honestly. It seems Max Bupa seems to take everything for granted. Thought of taking Health Insurance from them but after observing their support system, I assume that it is going to a BIGGEST mistake of my life.
