I have been calling up MaxBupa customer care from three days now at the below mentioned time frames
1) 07/07/2012 8:30 AM 2) 07/07/2012 11:00 AM 3) 07/07/2012 4:30 PM 4) 09/07/2012 8:00 PM 09/07/2012 9:30 PM
and asked for a call back from the doctor on trying to understand why my Pre Auth was rejected
Answers I got as mentioned below
1) We will arrange it in 2-3 hours
2) We will arrange before the end of the day
3) Docotor does not want to speak about it(its rejected thats all because its preexisting)
4) Now the doctor is not available please call tomorrow(for gods sake I know doctor would not be available at that time thats why am asking for a call back)
Bottomline: -
1) Dont fall in their trap because they say there are no medical check ups
2) Dont fall top their marketing tricks because they say they would bare the medical expenses
3) Any thing you claim in the first 4 years of the policy would get declined stating its a preexisting(unless for accidental cover)
4) The Premium is so high that its not worthy at all.
They dont even follow IRDA rules:- As per the rules there is waiting period of 30 days only but the policy in Maxbupa shows 90 days waiting period
Dont believe the words told on phone, ask for clear cut documentation else ure putting ure money in a trash
