I had applied for a Senior Citizen Health Insurance. The initial premium quotation was jacked up after the company forced an on-line consultation with a doctor. Sensing absence of ethics and transparency, I applied for cancellation of my application on 20th December 2024. Till today the premium amount, paid along with the application, has not been refunded. It is extremely difficult to contact the company except through ‘Insta-Assist’, which only generates Case IDs without much help to the customers. Their Grievance Redressal mechanism is bad and outdated. Invite attention of IRDAI for taking appropriate actions on customer grievances against this company.
