In May11 I posted online request to buy Max Bupa Insurance and when the agent contacted me she briefed me about the product, continously she did follow up for 1.5 months and in June11 end I took this policy where in it had coverage of 3 lkhs and me and my husband were covered and I paid amount of 7450/-.Within 1 week I received my card and envelope was in torned condition and my husband card was not found and when I read the terms & conditions .i got furious .
Before taking this card agent has confirmed me over the phone below mentioned points:
1) We do not send our executives directly to cusotmers
2) What we commit over the phone is exactly mentioned on the terms & conditions
3)Cusotmer can use cashless benefits the day you receive the card without any waiting period
4)All requests & complaints are timely answered .
When I read the terms & conditions, i noted below mentioned:-
1) This policy had waiting period of 90 days.
2) What was committed over phone was exactly wriiten in the policy
3) This policy only covers sharing accomdation in any of the hospital.
When contacted with agent she refused with all such comment and immediately I asked for cancellation.Then she got furious and transferred my call to superior.
After 2 weeks of follow-up with customer care and written e-mails they agreed to cancel my policy but they said that including CEO & COO that what ever commitments was made over phone was exactly written in Policy terms & conditons.
Then I told them you are actually foooling the customers around with FALSE commitment and you think that every customers are fool.Anyways last week I recived I received my cheque wherein they deducted their filing charges .
