I have health insurance policy with Max Bupa since 2012. There has been increase of premium every year. This year, the premium has been increase by more than 30%. On calling customer service, they talk about transition of the customers to a new product. Its a mandatory transition. Customer does not have option to continue the old product as it does not exist now. They are also claim about having intimated customers in November 2016 about a new product. I have never received this intimation. Unfortunately, working class in India has less time to fight legal battles with these unfair practices and hence companies try to take advantage. Request other people to be aware of this.
