I had applied for the health care policy with 3 options Heart beat family
floater Gold(5 lakh), Critical illness coverage for 3 lakh,
hospitalisation allowance of Rs 1000 for myself and my wife on
30.05.2014. The premium was calculated as Rs15247. I could have paid
the premium online but based on the request from Sales executive Mr.
Tarun, I send the details of myself and my spouse and waited for his
online payment link where I had done the fund transfer of Rs15247.
Inspite of repeated request I didnt get the payment receipt for this
transaction
After a repeated requests with customer care, I got the transaction
statement from Ms. Pooja where there was no information of the amount,
after 2 working days.
Later there were a series of telephone calls where mine and my spouse
details were verified.
I given all the right information from very beginning, but your team
members later come up with lot of issues like need medical checkup for
my wife etc.
Later in first week of June, Niraj(Assistant Manager) contacted me and told there was a
revision in the policy premium. With the above amount what I have
paid, they could not cover critical illness and hospitalisation
allowance for my wife.
Finally it was agreed that policy will be issued without critical
illness coverage and allowance for wifes hospitalisation. This was
committed to be delivered by 11 AM 04.06.2014. But not.
As a customer, I made a mistake by opting health insurance policy from MAX BUPA.
But right now I am trying some how get some policy from them, since my
money is blocked in their account. I am sure that I am not getting
benefits for such a bulk premium.
I escalated the topic to their second level, Chief manager for Customer relationship Mr. Gargi Sahu. Now I want the money back, I dont their insurance policy.
Lets see the what happens.
I feel, I need to go toInsurance Ombudsman to get justice.
A humble request to people who need a health insurance: Dont opt for MAX BUPA.
They are absolutely fraud.
