I took Health Insurance Policy for my mother aged 57 during 2012 Oct(premium 13k).
I renewed it in 2013 Oct also without lapse(Premium 15k).
During policy taking, I had reported that my mom is suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
Unfortunately my mother was hospitalized in 2013 Dec.
She had to be operated immediately and I took her to a Max Bupa networked hospital.
To my surprise the’cashless’ request was right away rejected asking me to go reimbursement.
Hospital bill was around 4 lacs, and I submitted all the original bills & reports to their Bangalore Koramangala office.
I had to wait for almost 45 days after submitting but at last, they even rejected the reimbursement giving silly reasons.
I went under heavy loss as I had maid huge loans, relying on this Max Bupa.
I have suffered to the core & I don’t want anyone to go through the phase I went through.
Request you to never consider MAX BUPA in your dreams also.
No.1 CHEATERS and BAD BUSINESS ETHICS. BEWARE OF MAXBUPA!
