I am Naresh from Andhra Pradesh but working in Chennai. I was looking for Health Insurance for my family. After looking at the features of the Policy, I thought this would be great to have one. Since my mom was having sugar and undergone an operation for Hernia, they rejected the policy on 28th March 2013. And they also pointed out that I have heart issues, which was funny coz I am just 25 and am solid as rock without any history of diseases.


The pain in the a** situation started for claiming for Refund. The sales girl Ms. S. Rathineswari(s.rathineswari@maxbupa.com) had not only refused to give me Terms & Conditions while signing the application form, but also has no clue about how many working days does it take to get refunded. She blindly promised that it would take 7 working days counting from 30th March 2013.


When I called this woman this morning, she was requesting for 2 more days coz according to her the cheque was dispatched only on Saturday 6th April and she might receive it only after 2 days. Ironically, I happened to call their customer care and was informed that the cheque was indeed dispatched on 2nd April and its lying at Chennai Branch office.


These sales executives might sell their family to achieve their targets. Such a rubbish they talk when they present the product. They give vague promises and talk crap which they have no idea about.


After reading other people reviews, I felt that my issue is small compared to them, coz I am not gonna be screwed by them in future. I would seriously not recommend this product or its company’s policies to anyone.  They are complete liars and Hooligans.
