I am enrolled to Max bupa health insurance since last 3 years and so far used it 2 times and the experience is satisfactory.
The premium of this health plan depends upon your age and it is particularly 10 -15% higher than the lowest primium offered in the segment. Also, it is excluded any GST( previously service tax) . The range of plans are very good, depending upon your budget you can choose different bundles of critical illness and accident covers to build your policy.
The customer care and staff attitude is average. I have mailed them for a query for a disease and their reply came in 72 hrs. Phone call to customer care works fast, but then they need time to study for policy for complex queries. Better to use email channel.
Good Claim settlement is the most important part of this policy. The hospital network on which the cashless claim is available is large infact may be number 1 in india. Also, they settle the claim really fast, it was usually is less than 1 hour for me for final claim settlement.
It is a quality policy and comes at a slightly expensice price, but you will not regret your decision when you will come to use it.
