Movie Review Of No Entry

Director – Aneez Bazmee

Screenplay – Aneez Bazmee

Kishen (Anil Kapoor) is a happily married man to the sweet yet ever suspicious and conservative wife Kaajal(Lara Dutta). Working under him is a single guy Sunny(Fardeen Khan) who is in love with Sanjana(Celina Jaitely). The story takes a start when their common friend, Prem(Salman Khan) decides to Help Kishen “Do It” by having the luscious Bobby(Bipasha Basu) to seduce him. Of course this has to be done without the knowledge of Kaajal and somehow Kishen just fails to do it and then lies to Kaajal that Bobby is actually Sunny’s wife. This irates Sunny as he is about to get married to Sanjana so he lies to Sanjana’s father that Bobby is actually Kishen’s wife. Typical screwball, slam-door comedy which deals with the often used subject of Mistaken Identities. The film has its moments like The Honeymoon Trip, the scene at Sunny’s in laws and the climax but some how falls flat because of some horrendous acting by most of the star cast, except Anil Kapoor. He is the only saving grace of the film. The actresses, including a cameo by Esha Deol are absolutely gorgeous but that’s as far as it goes. Watch it only if you have nothing better to do. Largely inspired by 2004 hit Masti.

Psst –

1)     The movie took almost 16 months to complete.

Quotes –

None that I could remember. Sorry Guys.

Oops

1)     As usual, what is shown as Mumbai is actually locales at Greece and Mauritius.

2)     To produce a kid the couple must have good sex or go to a counselor. Its so unlikely to find educated people going to a roadside astrologer to find out about how many kids they are going to have.
