I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the non-refund of Rs. 12, 000, which I paid as an advance booking fee for a 2 BHK rental property in Hyderabad through your platform. I had paid this amount in good faith, intending to secure a rental flat for my family as promised by your service. Unfortunately, despite multiple follow-ups, I have yet to receive my refund, even though the property was not successfully rented through NoBroker.
The timeline and context of my interactions with your team have been as follows:
On 20th September 2024, I paid Rs. 12, 000 as an advance booking fee for a 2 BHK property listed on NoBroker, with the understanding that it would be held for my rental purpose in Hyderabad.
After cancellation of the deal by the flat owner I requested a refund.
Despite several follow-ups and reassurances from nobroker support team, the refund has not been processed yet till date.
It has been incredibly frustrating to experience such delays and lack of responsiveness. The amount of Rs. 12, 000 is significant, and as a customer, I am highly dissatisfied with the way my refund request has been handled. Not only that this delay caused inconvenience, but it has also disrupted my financial planning as I had intended this amount for my family’s rental arrangements.
I request immediate action to resolve this issue and initiate the refund process at the earliest. Please confirm the timeline for the refund of Rs. 12, 000 and ensure that the amount is transferred to my bank account without any further delays.
If this issue is not resolved within mention your preferred time frame, e.g., 7 days, I will be left with no option but to escalate this matter to higher authorities or and also in consumer forum for such fraudulent activity done by noborker.in and also explore other media channels for dispute resolution, including consumer forums.
