I bought the Nokia 2300 in May 2004. Touch wood, it’s still working fine. Overall - good basic stuff for talking. It’s a bit fat and may be uncomfortable in most pockets. You need to have a pouch to carry it. It’s fallen quite a few times and still managed to keep fit. For protection, lamination is a good option but the lamination tends to wear out after some time. Reception is good specially with a head phone. FM listening is a breeze. Only thing - colour key pad is a bit loud. I recommend the grey key pad - the novelty of colour wears out after some time. Ideal for college students who don’t have much dough to spend. A bit heavy - better to use an earphone. Only 3 games - Snake 2, Opposite and Double Impact. ’’Countdown timer’’ is good for cooking and exercise sets.
