Nearly 5 months back I replaced my not too old Sony Ericsson K310i with Nokia 3110c after doing lot of research. I used to hate Nokia before buying this cell due its low feature high price strategy but looking at 3110c’s feature/price I gave it a chance. But belive me this was a completely new age Nokia. Previously Nokia was delevring mobiles with slow processor, low resolution screen, very few features, low customisation and same old tasteless interface at very high price. But eversince Nokia was threatened by SonyEricsson/Moto and many more, it has changed its strategy to more stylish and performance oriented phones.
When I saw this mobile very first time, I was surprised by its extremely quick interface. Apart from that it has long list of features to blow anyone’s mind. Shockingly it has Bluetooth 2.0, USB2, 1.3 MP camera, up 2 GB microSD support, FM radio, 16.7 million colours screen, latest Series 40 FP3 OS, EDGE, Infrared, 2000 phonebook etc. list is endless. And all these at just Rs.6000! Awsome value for money.
I am using this cell since last 5 months and trust me it has beaten all so called high profile cells. It has one very good feature called Active Display in which it allows you to display lot of information on screen just like smartphone. The software of this cell is very customisable. Supports vast amount of different audio and video files. Also the builtin speaker is very powerful(not loud enough like N series). Music player is very quick. Camera is decent enough but when you see pictures in computer they look better. Camera suffers in low light though. But I must say battery is very powerful, works well over 3 days.
Things I dont like, it plays AMR files in very low volume even if you keep full volume you will not be able to hear clearly. Camera takes long time to start. Also little slower. But I dont mind having few minuses at Rs.6000.
overall this is a fantastic phone to have. Name it and you will find it in this cell. Go for it if you want really sturdy and reliable phone then go for it blindly.
