Yeah it is best phone when we see overall features but a big letdown is it is very delicate and I will explain how much delicate it is. First of all I start with pros which are more than cons.
PROS:
1) The sound reception, ease of features are excellent and also this is user friendly phone.2) Battery backup is nice, for attending calls it comes more than 4 hours, when music played through head set battery lasts more than one day and for browsing internet on phone it lasts for 1.5 hr.3) The browsing speed is very good. For example when this phone is connected to pc just by using the slow dial up connection we used to open as many tabs as on broad band and still all tabs run. My phone was used mainly for internet purpose as we lived in a remote area without net facility.4) The music is excellent in head set and is ok in speakers and the music library options are very good unlike my present phone nokia 6233 which has only few music options.5) The keypad is well suitable for texting messages and playing games.
now the CONS :
1) The very very big con is this phone is very delicate...just pick the phone with slide opened, you can clearly feel the slide vibrates and u just have the feeling that the slide may come out into your hand.
2) Even I saw a 5200 with broken slide in a mobile repair shop. Once my friend just pressed on the music symbol above the music key and a dent was formed. I was just surprised because dents can be formed on this phone by just pressing little harder. This is not expected from nokia phones.
3) The screen resolution is bit low as the same phones in this cost have more resolution than nokia 5200.
4) The vga cam resolution is very poor. A motorola L6 with same vga cam have higher resolution than nokia 5200.
To end up this review summing up all the points, 5200 is a good phone unless until it was handled carefully. If it is used rashly then this phone will end up in a repair shop with slide broken and a large bill for repair !!!!!!!
