Got myself a new 5230 a month ago and now have gone through this set thoroughly I can say that this is the best entry level touch screen from nokia this is better than nokia 5233(its poor cousin) which do not have 3g and gps so dnt save 1k on that rather buy this set. however its sequel nokia 5235 is better then this so I would have got that one but couldnt find the colour in 5235. however this set is similar to nokia 5235 .
it have most of the positive sides(must buy) but few negative which I will highlight so that you can consider them too as they might be your priority.
1)not the best music quality. specially when compared it to its costly cousin nokia 5800.
2)headsets are ordinary, iff you are looking for some music then you must buy your own headsets or a nokia 5235 which gives stereo headsets. it have 3.5 mm jack so compatibility no issue.
3)front camera for video calling not there despite it being 3g(but what can we expect at 7.3k)
4)being a touchscreen you have to be cautious while handling not like other nokia stuff which works fine even falling from first floor or even when we get wet in rains with cell in our pocket.(but this hold true for every smartphone and a touch phone)
5)i miss the wifi option(again for its price you cant wish to have such features but is must for some people), as most of the nokia ovi applications are to be downloaded directly from the phone so I miss this wifi have got idea internet monthly unlimited subscription but is very slow so waiting for 3g to arrive in india in private operators.
