Nokia 6021 is a very cute and nice GPRS phone which has bluetooth as well as infra red connectivity facility. I surveyed the market and the internet and obviously Mouthshut finally to take a decision to go for the nokia 6021.
By all means it is satisfactory. I really did not require a FM radio in the phone nor a camera. But I wanted bluetooth as well as IR. So that time this phone was a newly launched product. I got it for 7200 and had to sheel out some more for VAT since I got it in Kolkata.
Anyway. I am using the Nokia PC Suite compatible for the 6021 and it is exciting. The bluetooth connectivity aids me in sending SMS and deleting them directly from my computer, thus cutting down time to type the SMS on your handset. Deleting the messages is fast from the Computer thru bluetooth connectivity.
The voice recorder feature is appreciable and helps me to record some conversations at differnet times. In fact you can record and edit the files created. Later you can select them as your ringtone if you desire. Since this is a poluphonic phone you cannot compose your own ringtone directly on the handset. But instead you can download enchanting Midi files from the internet (there are hundreds of sites that hosts midi files of English as well as other languages) and creat a ringtone using the Nokia PC Suite software which is very user friendly too.
The best part I enjoy in the 6021 is the navigation button which just requires a top/bottom/left/rightwards push with your finger. The battery is appreciably good and standby charge last for more than 3 days after a full charge. you also get +100 SMS storing capacity in your Inbox. The 6021 design is cute and the colours available is only one. Yet it looks beautiful. The colour display is fine and large. The speaker phone is great too.
SO all you guys going for a new GPRS enabled set with bluetooth especially, you should go for the 6021 since this is the cheapest colour display GPRS phone with bluetooth without fm radio and camera. If you require the latter two then 6021 is not for you. Because the higher GPRS models offer you all - bluetooth, IR, FM, Camera etc etc. Since I am a bluetooth crazy fella, I love the 6021.
