I was using Nokia 7270.
It was a kool phone with a very good display, handy keypads, and enough style.
But my way of handling started spoiling it.
keeping it in my jeans pocket caused its fabric cover to give away..
So I started looking for another phone(certainly not foldable).
As I travel a lot, I wanted MP3 player function as a must.
Blue tooth was also a must.
when all these feaures r there, the memory must be expandable..
budget was 10000 only..
Many friends adviced me to take 6600( seconds)
but I felt that it is a bit bulky.
the next option ws 6230/ 6230i.
buy the tat time 6230i was in market.
Finally I got a smuggled 6230 ( brought from UAE) with out bill.(but had the box packing and all other papers-to ensure that it was not a stolen one)
i got it for Rs 9000, six months back(sept 06).
till date its fine serving me tolerating a lot of abuses.
it has proven its rigidity in construction many times.
I seldom use the camera.
i use GPRS as wel as Mp3 player the most.
Its giving me a battery back up of two days.
wen using GPRS, battery wil last for a day only.(if I dont use charger while using GPRS).
The phone is compact and got decent features.
its not an eye catcher.
but quiet usable one.
there r three versions of this model.
i was lucky enough to get the third edition.
it got brighter display,
better keypads
and much better speaker phone.
I use HS3 headset that came with my 7270 for MP3.
iam quite satisfied with its performance.
