This is my first review on m.s on my beloved Nokia 6233 phone. I bought it on may 02 2008 when the 6233’s production was almost stopped. I bought it for 7100 rs in subiksha. From then my phone just amazes me till date.
PROS:
1) First of all the phone is very frugal. My phone has been fallen many times very badly and till date no problem has occurred unlike my previous phone Nokia 5200.
2)The sound quality is above par and I like hearing music in my phone very much.
3) Net accessing is very fast in 6233 and also the charging when using net comes no less than 3 hours.
4) Cam quality is good and video resolution is also ok.
5) Bluetooth speed is ok but it could be better like in Sony w 550i phone.
6) Call reception quality, ease of features and battery charging are very good like in all other Nokia mobiles. When music player is on continuously battery backup comes for almost 24 hours and when calls are attended continuously battery will run for 6 hours.
CONS:
1) The most irritating con is this phone does not have fast forward or rewind options in video player. This makes watching lengthy videos a hell!
2) There is no tracklist option in the music player. The tracklist option is very useful and I was very used to it in my previous 5200 handset. Lack of this feature means we have to continuously browse tracks to play our favorite tracks.
Although there are 2 cons in my phone, I like this phone very much as the other features in my phone are above par. Till date no extra repair cost was incurred on my 6233 whereas it was reverse on my previous 5200. My 6233 is frugally running from 1 year and 11 months and I hope it will run without hiccups in future too:)
