After the great success of 3310, 3315, 6210, 6310.......... and many other suberp masterpieces Nokia launched the Nokia 6610 which has become one of the most successful value for money fones in india.
It has amazing finish, great looks and amazing shape, the speaker phone is very usefull and the GPRS enability makes it even more great value. The colour screen is attractive but not as attractive as it has only 49k colors I personally like the 65k color screen as it gives a richer experience but then 65k fones are verry pricey as well.
The 6610 has amazing phone book with capacity of 300 names with 5 nos. on each name and space for postal address and email ids too. You can make your business card and send business cards with all your details with the press of a button via infra red port provided the other phone to transfer has the facitlity of an infra red port as well.
Well the FM radio is amazing with amazing stereo quality and option of loudspeaker. There are two great games which keeps u interested as they are dificult to master one is the chess.
All other facilities are there except the facility of Bluetooth and a camera is missing. I personally don’t miss the camera function so much as I prefer my nikon digital camera any day as no camera phone can match its great picture reproduction but the bluetooth is the advantage I really miss. But still the Nokia 6610 is a great phone and can be used as a no non - sense business fone as well as funky FM enabled colourscreen fone. It’s value for money and thats what Nokia is famous for jsut go and grab one.
