This restaurant used to have authentic punjabi and north indian food and was reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. Situation on Residency Road in downtown Bangalore, it used to be fairly accessible as well.
Everythings changed. The food has gone downhill and is hardly different from the so called north indian food in most Bangalore restaurants.
Its no longer as accessible, as Bangalore traffic police in their infinite wisdom decided to make Residency Road a one way.
Parking is horrific, if you have an aversion to valet parking. One side of the hotel is sloped, so reversing out requires dexterous use of the handbrake.
Food:
If at all you have to go to this restaurant, go for the lunch buffet, which at around Rs 500 per person including tax, is the best option. The choice changes from day to day.
I would not recommend dinner here.
Ambience: once more, nothing exceptional. The view is of some sort of garden below, and the internal lighting is bright.
Service once more is ordinary. They are supposed to serve rotis and naan at the table, but take their own time doing so. They also tend to cut the rotis into small pieces, which can be irritating.
